The agreement with our carrier of choice, TNT Express Transport, does not include a call to arrange a suitable delivery time. However, once your item(s) has left our warehouse, you will be able to track its journey online. Please note that delivery dates shown on the carrier’s website are only estimates and we cannot take any liability for late deliveries.
Your order will be delivered to, or close to the front door of your house (to the front door of your building if you live in an apartment block) and requires a signature upon delivery to acknowledge that the item(s) has been received in a reasonable order.
However, if you anticipate that you might not be at home for your delivery, we can, when booking in the shipment, instruct TNT on your behalf to leave it in a safe place but this means that there will be no insurance cover on the consignment once it has been delivered. Once your order has been processed, we will contact you for your instructions.
Due to security and liability restrictions of our carrier, the customer is responsible for bringing any of such merchandise into their home, so we recommend that you have someone available to help you carry the items into your home, unpack and install your furniture.
If for any reason, our shipping partner is not able to successfully deliver your order it should leave a card with further delivery instructions. In these situations, Space Saving Furniture Australia reserves the right to charge you for any additional costs incurred (e.g. shipping and storage).
